PHOENIX – ‘Pyjamathon’ – 6 hour timed even
What better way to start the weekend off than coming for a run with us in your pyjamas?
Lycra is out, night-gowns and jim-jams are in!! Slippers are optional.
You don’t even need to get dressed to come and join us for the Pyjamathon. From 5km to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few laps as you like of a 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful river Thames. We welcome all abilities of runner – complete one lap and you’re both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 6 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finishers’ medal.
You don’t need to be a seasoned long distance runner, you just need to like fun and more fun! It also helps if you like sweets, crisps and chocolate.
The medal for this event is epic and massive and did we mention epic! Oh and it’s BIG too – at 180mm – YES, that’s 18cm…. and you all get one!
Places will be strictly limited so don’t leave it too late to enter.
This event is fully sanctioned by the 100 Marathon Club.
The course is along towpath, overall has no elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route.

Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 6 hours.
This event is fully sanctioned by the 100 Marathon Club and for competitors completing 8 laps or more (26.2 miles+) this will count towards your numbers.
Off road trail, the terrain is riverside towpath.
The overall course has no elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route.
