It's actually here - the first ever 20in20 in the UK - the TwiT is a go!

In the spring of 2021 Phoenix Running & Global Marathon Challenges are returning with our very popular Ten in Ten (TiT) Run Series.

As the name suggests this is a series of 20 consecutive running events held over 20 consecutive days where you choose - from 5km to 10k, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like each day. The laps will based around our standard 5.3km, 3.28 mile, out and back, series of routes along the beautiful River Thames and are held on UKA/IAAF measured and certified routes. The runs are 5, 6 or 7 hour timed events, dependant on distance entered, and we welcome absolutely all abilities of runner - complete one lap on any day and you're both a finisher for that day and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can go in the full time limit. Then come back and do it all over again and again and again and again and again - you get the idea

The Phoenix Twenty in Twenty Series will be based from our Thames Path location in Walton on Thames (postcode KT12 2JB), running in parallel to the Ten in Ten, where the Weir Pub (right on the start finish line) lays on a special daily 'runners breakfast' and there are plenty of accommodation options nearby including camping. We use two routes from this location for the TiT & TwiT and we plan to alternate the route day-to-day to mix things up a bit as well as potentially adding up to 2 extra routes (TBC). Our aid station or 'tuck shop' is famous for all its sweet and savoury goodies, so you won't go hungry!

What makes the Phoenix Twenty in Twenty so special?
Well, firstly this is a 'one off' for 2020, so it won't be happening again.

It's also worth noting that the 20in20 should in no way detract from the 10in10. These are both truly amazing events in their own right.

As we hope you've come to expect from us, we're going to be doing something rather special and unique to us on the 'bling' front.
For those looking to complete all 20 days we're got a rather lovely set of Phoenix 'Fortitude' medals for you. These are, of course, our usual BIG and bold bling at 130mm (goes without saying really that we wouldn't compromise on size, and they are 'two part' medals. So each day you get a different coloured Phoenix with a 'conquest sword' or 'Knights helmet' in its claws and each day you receive a new conquest sword or helmet taking you on a personal running journey to becoming Unbelievable and overcoming the Impossible!.

And as if that wasn't enough - for those completing all 20 days, on day 10 you get a bespoke A4 wooden Finishers Plaque - it's awesome! You can detach your daily achievement swords from the main Phoenix medals and display them on the Finishers Plaque!

Registration opens from 8.30am each day

We provide a physical running service and by entering our events you are purchasing an actual run, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. All participants in our events, both attended and virtual, will receive a free giveaway medal / memento from your run.
