This special ‘Day at the Movies’ Run will be held on Saturday November 18th 2017 with all profits going to the Ray’s Of Sunshine Charity (giving children with life-limiting or terminal illnesses their lifetime wishes). For details of this superb charity see this link – Ray’s of Sunshine
PLEASE NOTE: This event will only launch for entry a month or two before the event date as we use medals from our other 2017 events and donate 100% of profits to charity.

So far this year we’ve had a whole series of film inspired, 6 hour timed events in 2017, some of which are true ‘one-offs’, and many which will not have the same medal next year. We’ve had lots of enquiries from those who missed one or more of our film events and who are asking if there’s any way of getting their hands on the medals……
Well there is now……. Whether you missed out first time round, or you just fancy another run with us, we’re putting on a special ‘Day at the Movies’ charity run, where (subject to availability) you can choose the medal you want from a list of our past film themes. We have some medals left, and, although we will be getting some extra ones made, this means that we’ve already paid the cost of the ‘spare’ medals! So, this event should generate a profit – all of which will go to the Ray’s of Sunshine children’s charity.
So how will it work? So, medal availability will be on a first come, first served basis. You can tell us which medal you want when you enter. There will be three extra fields to fill out on the entry system, where in order of preference, you’ll put your top 3 medal choices. We’ll always try and give you your first choice, however if your first choice isn’t available we’ll go to your second, third and then allocate based on availability. Don’t forget – it’s first come, first served, so enter early to avoid missing out on your first choice. All our medals are totally awesome so we’re pretty sure you’ll love whichever one you get.
Medal Choices: TBC
Complete one lap and you qualify for the bespoke finishers’ medal, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 6 hours. Places will be strictly limited so don’t leave it too late to enter. This event is fully sanctioned by the 100 Marathon Club and for competitors completing 8 laps or more (26.2 miles+) this will count towards your numbers.
