Phoenix Running Hertfordshire invite you to join us at our fabulous new location in Harefield - introducing our delightful host venue, The Coy Carp Inn, and a new route running along the Grand Union Canal.

This is one of our timed events where you choose - from 5km to 10k, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful and historic Grand Union Canal.  We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke Coy Carp Caper finishers' medal. 

We also operate our uniquely flexible rock up and run start times within a 2 hour start window, so no added pressure if you're running a bit late, we can accommodate start times from 8am to 10am, though please note that you will need to complete your chosen distance by the cut-off time of 3pm.  We also welcome Clubs or groups of runners, so if you would like to have your own wave start please contact us and we will do our best to arrange this for you. 

Not sure which distance to choose?  Well, the beauty of this format is that you don't need to decide in advance - simply come and run and see how you feel on the day. The minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Keep on going to complete as many 3.28 mile laps as you wish within the time limit.

Off road trail, the terrain is canal towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route. 

Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter.

Travel: There is free parking available at the The Coy Carp Inn - please remember to enter your vehicle registration on the terminal inside the Coy Carp and then stay to enjoy the hospitality on offer at our friendly host venue after you have finished your run.

We provide a physical running service and by entering our events you are purchasing an actual run, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. All participants in our events, both attended and virtual, will receive a free giveaway medal / memento from your run.
