This is one of our timed events where you choose - from 5km to 10k, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 5.3km, 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful River Mersey in Chorlton Water Park. We welcome all abilities of runners, walkers, joggers, hikers, Jeffers - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finishers' medal. 

We will have a rock up and run option, so you can start any time 8.30am onwards, there is no pressure to start at a particular time. If you have any further requests on the start times, please just email us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate everyone. 

Not sure on the distance?  Well, the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance - simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right.

Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. 

Parkrun compatible: Our Saturday runs are parkrun compatible, so you can show us your parkrun time and we will include it as a lap for you in your overall distance. Please note, it is the responsibility of the runner to show us parkrun time and inform us that you have completed parkrun on the day of the event itself, if you fail to do so at the end of your event, we cannot add this to your overall distance.

Charity: Independent Cat Rescue Prestwich  

We will be donating £1 for every participant to a chosen charity. (For example, if we have 100 entries, we will donate £100).             

Staggered starts from 8.30-9.30am (Registration from 7.30am, please don't arrive before this time). All runners should be finished 3.30pm. Early start 8am on request. 

Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off road trail, the terrain is riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route. 

Toilets and changing rooms available at Race HQ.  

Additional Parking for upto 100 cars is available across the river at Sale Water Park (15min walk from the start). If you plan on completing upto half marathon distance, we request you to kindly use the Sale Water Park car park.

We provide a physical running service and by entering our events you are purchasing an actual run, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. All participants in our events, both attended and virtual, will receive a free giveaway medal / memento from your run.
