The is a 'special' event being hosted at short notice by Phoenix Running to try and cater for some of those who may have been disappointed by not being able to do the London Marathon as planned.

This is an event being held on a fully measured and certified route, with all our usual amazing and unrivalled aid station supplies and all the usual Phoenix awesomeness. We'll be using our classic marathon medals (plus a surprise) and laying on fully electronic chip timing, but we fully realise that this is NOT the London Marathon or Half! Our aid stations are way better!

We�re looking to cover our basic costs here, so the entry is as low as we can make it to break even, with chip timing as an addition and all the usual extras.

This is a beautiful low key jaunt along the River Thames from Walton on Thames to Hampton Court and back where runners complete 4 identical laps for the marathon distance and 2 laps for the Half Marathon, but remember - it is NOT the London Marathon or Half.

Off road trail, the terrain is riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route.

Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter.

Registration opens from 7:15am. There are NO on the day enties.

We provide a physical running service and by entering our events you are purchasing an actual run, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. All participants in our events, both attended and virtual, will receive a free giveaway medal / memento from your run.
