One Run to Bring Them All

This is the third run in our trilogy (with an extra secret part 4 still to come, I know it makes no sense) and this time the medal is presented in the ultimate obsidian BLACK finish!

The 'One Run to Bring Them All' will be one of our epic 'Battle Runs' with Elves vs. Orcs in a race that will see half the field run Westbound and half the field run Eastbound - on our Thames Path routes.

When you register, you'll get your race number as usual, however this will dictate which direction you are going to run in along the Thames towpath. It's odd vs. evens, Elves vs. Orcs. At the start line those wearing odd numbers will face west and those wearing even numbers will face east. Then when the start signal goes that's the route you'll complete your laps on and stick to for the duration of your run, meeting back at the 'middle earth' aid station after each lap

Once the event is finished we'll add up the total number of laps completed by 'Elves' and the total number of laps completed by 'Orcs' and there will be a winning team and ultimate bragging rights!

This is a multi-distance event - from 5km to 10k, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 5.3km, 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful river Thames within the overall 6 hour time limit. We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 6 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finishers' medal.

Not sure? Well the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance - simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right.

Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter.

Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 6 hours. Off road trail, the terrain is riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route.

We provide a physical running service and by entering our events you are purchasing an actual run, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. All participants in our events, both attended and virtual, will receive a free giveaway medal / memento from your run.
