P12 - The Longest Attended Day

Think you could run 1 mile on the hour every hour for 12 hours? Easy right?

Then come and join us for the first ever 'attended' version of the P12 to be held on the summer solstice weekend on 19th / 20th June at the Denbies Wines Estate in Dorking.

How does a P12 work?
Pretty simply really - we'll have a 1 mile route set up (as flat as possible) and then at the same time each hour, you run 1 mile and then repeat 12 times across the 12 consecutive hours. We'll be slightly staggering the starts to ensure social distancing and we'll be operating in a Covid-19 secure environment appropriate to the guidelines in place within the Governments 4 stage roadmap to exit lockdown.

The event includes full chip timing and our legendary 12mm thick P12 finisher's medal presented in shiny GOLD to all those who complete the 12 hours. We'll be on site for 24 hours from 08.00am on 19th June through to 08.00am on 20th June so for the P12 you can actually turn up and start at anytime between 08.00am and 8.00pm on June 19th which will still allow you 12 consecutive hours in which to complete your P12.

Pretty cool - flexible start times so you could come and do a night P12 if you elect to start later in the evening say 7 or 8pm and then run your 12 hours through the night. It's up to you.

There's on-site camping included for tents (no mobile homes / campers I'm afraid) or if you can't be bothered to pitch an actual tent then onsite sitting around in between miles is included and, of course, full 24 hour access to bathrooms and toilet facilities. During daytime hours there is access to the onsite cafe which serves a multitude of hot food and has an outdoor serving hatch for teas, coffees, drinks, bacon rolls, sausage rolls and a selection of vegetarian & vegan food

We'll also be co-ordinating our VIRTUAL version of this event simultaneously across the same time period and in 2020 we had over 1,000 virtual runners from all over the world heading out each hour, on the hour. This will be our first truly integrated 'V-Live' event with both attended and virtual runners in unison.

Places will be strictly limited for the attended event and if you don't get a space then please do consider joining us virtually to be part of this epic endurance challenge

1 mile on the hour every hour for 12 hours. Off road trail, through the wine estate

We provide a physical running service and by entering our events you are purchasing an actual run, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. All participants in our events, both attended and virtual, will receive a free giveaway medal / memento from your run.
