Merry Christmas from Phoenix Running and as a thank you for supporting our running events throughout 2020 and to get us through this next phase of lockdown and tier 4 segregation we're going to have a rather special Team VULTRA.

Oh, and it's pretty much on us because other than asking you to contribute to the map fees and a small postal cost for the wooden medal, we're going to pay the rest and basically gift you this entry as close to FREE as we can possibly make it - entry will be just £7.92 - Merry Christmas and thank YOU!

This will also be out first ever Team VULTRA and there will be two teams;

• Team Prometheus
• Team Atlas

You'll be randomly allocated your team upon signup and then from Christmas Day on 25th December 2020 we race in our teams along the longest mapped route around the globe from Cape Town in South Africa to Vladivostok via Moscow & Mongolia - 15,195 miles! You'll be able to see your individual miles on the results tables but there will only be two team pins on the map, one for Prometheus and one for Atlas and we all contribute to one or the other. Oh and if one team gets too far ahead we're having a 'subs' system, where we can vote in the Facebook group and switch folks in and out of teams. Will the fun just never stop!

This event will be opened ended - basically we race virtually together until we get there, or the lockdown ends and all our 'Tiers' have long since dried up and been replaced with smiles.

All entrants will receive all the usual VULTRA features; Phoenix World account, easy self submit results, results tracking, miles breakdown, tracking map, digital BIB, digital finishers certificate and all entrants will receive one of our classic eco-friendly wooden 'Phoenix' medals. Entries will be strictly capped so please enter as soon as you can and tell your running friends about this as it's a great way to try one of our epic VULTRA events for the first time at an unbeatably low entry price.
