Phoenix Running - Scotland

After 40 years combined in London, Amy & Andrew decided they needed more fresh air, more adventure... and definitely more midges. So in 2024, they packed up and moved to the Scottish Highlands - now neighbours with a whisky distillery, the Loch Ness Monster, and Elspeth the Highland cow.

Amy has been running since high school, ran her first marathon in 2009, and has racked up 375 marathons, including 141 ultras, 24 100-milers, and 3 "10-in-10s" - with 148 Phoenix events in the mix.

Andrew caught the running bug in 2013 after meeting Amy and has since completed 130 marathons, including 36 ultras, 3 100-milers, and 1 "10-in-10" - with 39 Phoenix events (and a fair share of physio sessions).

So why were Amy & Andrew so keen to launch Phoenix Running Scotland? Because Amy is passionate about bringing Phoenix's inclusive, adventurous spirit to runners of all levels - and Andrew really just wants to be in charge of the snacks.
