This is the event page for the 12 hour event (8am to 8pm) and 6 hour morning start (8am). 

Join us for The Hive Hustle - The Bumblebee Run! A unique track running event at the iconic Stockport Harriers Running Track, taking place on Easter Friday, April 3rd, 2026. Whether you're chasing a personal best or looking to complete two marathons in one day, we've got a format to suit your challenge. 

Choose from:

• The 12-Hour Challenge (8am to 8pm)
• 6 hour challenge: Morning start (8am)
• 6 hour challenge: Afternoon start (2pm)  
   

Important info for 100 Marathon Club number chasers: You will need to sign up to both 6 hour challenges individually and if you complete the distance (26.2 miles) in each 6 hour time frame, you will be able to tick off two marathons on the same day for spreadsheet purposes. Completing a marathon or any distance beyond marathon within the 12 hour challenge counts as one marathon for the club. So, ensure you sign up to both 6-hour challenges if that's what you want to do!

Event features include:

• Fully stocked aid stations throughout the day
• On-site toilets and changing rooms
• Free parking at Woodbank Park car park on a first come-first serve basis (council-run)

Whether you're tackling a single session or going for the double or the full 12 hours in one go, come experience a supportive atmosphere, great facilities, and a buzzing track community.

We expect many folks to come and run more traditional distances so here's how these translate;

• It's 13 laps for 5.2km (meaning you complete at least 5km)
• It's 25 laps for 10km (meaning you complete exactly 10km)
• It's 53 laps for 21.2km (meaning you complete a half marathon)
• It's 105.5 so 106 laps for 42.2km (meaning you complete a marathon)
• It's 109 laps for 43.6km (meaning you complete an ultra marathon or 27 miles plus)
• It's 202 laps for 80km (meaning you complete a 50 miler)
• It's 302 laps for 120km (meaning you complete 75 miles)
• It's 403 laps for 160km (meaning you complete a 100 miler)

NOTE: This event will have electronic chip timing so we can provide you with live updates as you run.

Not sure?  Well the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance - simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right.

Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter.

Event is held under TRA and UKA rules, and you must be over 18 to participate.

We provide a physical running service and by entering our events you are purchasing an actual run, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. All participants in our events, both attended and virtual, will receive a free giveaway medal / memento from your run.
